TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Sue O’Donnell. 14.12.20

“Be exalted above the heavens; God! Your glory over all the earth!” (Psalm 57 v 11 TNJB)

Your glory, Lord God Almighty,

Is imminent, should be apparent in Christ Jesus’ birth.

He is born to live in us, all to Your glory.

Glory is Your love and mercy shining amongst us.

True love is born to us in Christ Jesus.

Jesus as the living Word of God

Is the remedy to each and every human difficulty,

Because the Lord Jesus is Your love manifest.

This is a love like no other, the full love.

Holy love is a life redeeming love.

“As for me, I will sing about Your power. I will shout with joy each morning because of Your unfailing love.” (Psalm 59 v 16 TNJB)

Your glory is us made to be one loving family,

Our joy found in Jesus, our peace too found through the †,

That together with our Saviour and the Holy Spirit,

We go out and about with a happy message.

We celebrate love by actively offering love.

We praise You, Lord God Almighty, daily.

We call on the Spirit, who instructs us lovingly,

Who works with us tirelessly all to the benefit of humanity.

satan, the enemy, is banished in the name of Jesus.

Jesus, God’s love manifest perfectly, beautifully.

“Let the nations praise You, God, let all the nations praise You. Let the nations rejoice and sing for joy, for You judge the world with justice. You judge the peoples with fairness, You guide the nations on earth. Let the nations praise You, God, let all the nations praise You.” (Psalm 67 v 3, 4, 5 TNJB)

“Kingdoms of the earth, sing to God, play for the Rider of the Heavens, the primeval heavens. There He speaks with a voice of power! Acknowledge the power of God. Over Israel His splendour, in the

clouds His power. Awesome is God in His sanctuary, He, the God of Israel, gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God.” (Psalm 68 v 32-35 TNJB)

Let us pray. “Blessed be God. Blessed be His holy name. Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true Man. Blessed be the name of Jesus...Blessed be the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete...” (“The Divine Praises”)

“My tongue will speak of Your righteousness and of Your praises all day long” (Psalm 35 v 28 NIV) as in Advent we prepare prayerfully for Christmas.

“Who is like You, O LORD? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, awesome in praises, working wonders?.” (Exodus 15 v 11 NAJB) Only Your Son and Your Spirit!

It is by our Saviour’s and Sanctifier’s all loving efforts we can be made holy, all to Your glory, Father God, For You have wanted to reveal to us a truth.

Your day is centred on the mystery of Christ Jesus as the Word made flesh, come to live in and among us as true love, holy love manifest, our hope of glory, now and eternally.

Let us pray in all the rejoicing of confident trust and expectation at the arrival of Jesus, being forthcoming as prophesied and promised. Our rich inheritance in heaven becomes a reality, all praise and thanks ever be!

Amen.
